Americans, Chiefs Announce 2012-13 Broadcast Schedule
KENNEWICK, WA – The Tri-City Americans and Spokane Chiefs, in partnership with their flagship television stations KVEW/KXLY and KHQ/SWX, announced today a joint agreement on a 10-game broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2012-13 season.
“We’re excited to continue this valuable partnership between our franchises and broadcast partners for a third consecutive season,” said Dan Mulhausen, the Americans’ VP of Business Operations and Marketing Communications. “We are thrilled that both fan bases will have the opportunity to watch what promises to be yet another classic chapter in one of the WHL’s best rivalries.”
The 2012-13 broadcast schedule will feature 9 Saturday home dates along with the traditional New Year’s Eve game aired live across the region on MeTV 42.2 and Charter Channel 280 in the Tri-Cities and on SWX 6.2 and Comcast Channel 115 in Spokane.

After a busy weekend, the Americans will now head down the homestretch of the 2012 WHL Pre-Season schedule. Tri-City will wrap-up the exhibition season with a doubleheader weekend, which kicks off on Friday, September 14. Before traveling to Kelowna for a match-up with the Rockets on Saturday, Tri-City will square off against the rival Spokane Chiefs on Friday at the Toyota Center.
