Friday Highlights: Domi reaches 100

After teammates Mitchell Marner and Christian Dvorak did so before him, Max Domi completed the London Knights’ 100-point trifecta on Friday night, scoring and adding two assists in an 8-6 win over the Saginaw Spirit. Watch
Domi is the eighth OHL player to reach the century mark this season and gives the Knights three 100-point scorers for the first time since the 2006-07 season when Patrick Kane, Sergei Kostitsyn and Sam Gagner all reached the milestone.
Domi’s 32 goals, 70 assists and 102 points in 57 games this season included a plus/minus rating of plus-24.
With Barrie’s Joseph Blandisi, Kevin Labanc and Andrew Mangiapane all over 100 points on the year, 2014-15 is the first season since 1992-93 when two different OHL teams have had three 100-point scorers.
The 1993 Detroit Jr. Red Wings had four 100-point men in Bob Wren (145 pts.), Pat Peake (136 pts.), Kevin Brown (134 pts.) and Todd Harvey (100 pts.) while the Peterborough Petes had three of their own that same season in Mike Harding (136 pts.), Jason Dawe (126 pts.) and David Roche (100 pts.).
Domi and the Knights wrapped up the regular season with their 40th win of the season on Friday. They will enter the 2015 OHL Playoffs as the third seed in the Western Conference.

34 saves from Lucas Peressini gave the Kingston Frontenacs yet another victory over the Oshawa Generals. Juho Lammikko and Spencer Watson both scored for the Frontenacs who took wins in six of their eight meetings with Oshawa this season. Watch
Two goals from Hayden Hodgson along with multi-point efforts from Daniel Nikandrov, Kevin Spinozzi, Jordan Kyrou and Stephen Pierog led the Sarnia Sting to a 7-2 win over a shorthanded Windsor Spitfires club. Watch
The Owen Sound Attack inched to within a point of the fourth place Guelph Storm, defeating them 4-3 on the road. Holden Cook, Erik Bradford and Kyle Platzer each had a goal and an assist. The Attack and the Storm each have one game left on their schedule to determine who will have home ice advantage in the first round of the OHL Playoffs. Watch
Mason Kohn provided the late game heroics as the Kitchener Rangers got past the Plymouth Whalers with a 4-3 overtime victory. After Zack Bowman was chased from the Plymouth crease following one period, Carolina Hurricanes prospect Alex Nedeljkovic came on to make 43 saves and earn second star honours in the losing effort. Nick Paul and Ryan Kujawinski each scored twice while Mike Amadio pitched in with three assists as the North Bay Battalion doubled up on Mississauga 6-3. The Troops will enter the OHL Playoffs as the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Watch
Brendan Bell scored twice for the Ottawa 67’s in a 6-2 win over the Peterborough Petes. The 67’s also had goals from Jeremiah Addison, Connor Graham, Sam Studnicka and Curtis Meighan. Watch
