ARTEM GRUSHNIKOV SIGNS WITH DALLAS STARS
HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Hamilton Bulldogs would like to congratulate defenseman Artem Grushnikov on his signing with the Dallas Stars.
The 48th overall selection in the 2021 NHL Draft by Dallas, Grushnikov was previously selected in the 2020 CHL Import Draft by the Bulldogs in the 1st round with the 16th overall selection.
Already an accomplished international representative for his native Russia, the Yegoryevsk native has won gold medals at the U-17 WHC, Hlinka-Gretzky Cup & U-19 WJAC while playing key roles each time as an underage player.
Expected to have a big role with the 2021-22 Hamilton Bulldogs, the organization is excited for the next steps in Grushnikov’s career.
“This is a great accomplishment for Artem and speaks to the type of impact player he already is.” said Bulldogs President & General Manager Steve Staios. “We’re very happy for Artem signing with a great organization in Dallas and now look forward to his contributions this season in Hamilton.”
