We are continually working to improve our website to ensure we can provide opportunities for Battalion fans to keep connected to the team, said Battalion President Mike Griffin. We know from tracking our website statistics that we have a huge following from outside the Brampton market and our first day’s on-line orders originated from places such as Kanata, Ont., Maryland, California, Ohio, Pennsylvania and British Columbia.

The team website is averaging over 36,000 hits a day in January (up from 6,000 a day in February, 2000) and is on pace to pass 1 million monthly hits for the second time.

In the first 16 days of January, more than 5,000 unique addresses visited BattalionHockey.com and totaled more than 35,000 page views, said Griffin. I’m certain that the unparalleled success our organization enjoyed at the World Junior Championship has brought more interest in the team and we’re hopeful that will translate into a significant increase in our attendance.
