Vancouver Takes Out Rockets 5-2
The Kelowna Rockets surrendered three third period goals and lost 5-2 to the Vancouver Giants on Sunday in Vancouver.
The game was scoreless after the first period and 2-1 Giants after two before Vancouver was able to pull away and hand the Rockets its second loss in as many nights.
Shane McCoglan and Cody Chikie scored for the Rockets while Adam Brown faced 37 shots in the Kelowna net.
The loss drops the Rockets record to 4-7-1-0 after a loss on Saturday night and a win over Vancouver on Thursday in Kelowna.
The Rockets return to Prospera Place on Wednesday when the Prince George Cougars visit Kelowna.
