r Facing a near must win, the Kelowna Rockets played a spirited game, coming from behind to win 5-3 over Everett and make their WHL first round playoff series 2-1 in favour of the Silvertips.

r Brett Bulmer converted a nice pass from Tyson Barrie and ripped home a wrist shot with four minutes to play in the thirtd period, snapping a 3-3 tie and sending the Rockets onto the win.

r It was Barrie's third assist of the night and made a winner of goalie Mark Guggenberger, who gave up just a single goal in relief of starter Adam Brown, pulled after Everett scored its second goal.

r The Silvertips led 3-1 after the first period but goals from Geordie Wudrick and Mitchell Callahan in the second made the score 3-3 as the team's headed for the dressing room. Wudrick scored twice and now has four in the series. Callahan added the empty netter to seal the win.

r Scott MacDonald, Byron Froese and Shane Harper scored for Everett.
