r The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 7-2 Saturday night at Prospera Place, winning its fifth straight game to improve to 24-25-2-2 on the season.

r Adam Brown was solid in net, earning the win and Spencer Main led the offense with two goals.

r The Rockets jumped out quickly, scoring four goals in the first as Mitchell Callahan, Shane McColgan, Main and Tyson Barrie gave the Rockets a 4-0 lead after one.

r Main, with his second of the game, and Cody Chikie added to the lead in the second as the Rockets took a 6-0 lead through two periods.

r The Rockets left after the game for Seattle and are back in action Sunday, wrapping up a busy weekend with a 5 p.m. start in Seattle on Sunday.
