Rockets Road Trip Back on with Stop in Brandon Tonight

The Kelowna Rockets are back in action tonight, playing the third game of a six game WHL Eastern Conference road swing.
The Rockets will meet Brandon tonight after opening the trip with a 4-2 win in Swift Current on Tuesday and a 6-3 win over Moose Jaw on Wednesday.
The wins extended the Rockets road winning streak to nine games while overall the team has won eight straight and 17 of its past 18 to jump into first place overall in the WHL with a 24-3-0-2 record.
The Rockets will be without defenceman Damon Severson who left the team after Wednesday’s game to attend Team Canada’s World Junior selection camp.
Rockets goalie Jordon Cooke earned the win in the Rockets net in both games to open the trip.
Kelowna will also play Regina on Saturday, Prince Albert on Sunday and Saskatoon Tuesday before players will head home for Christmas.
The Rockets are back in action on home ice on Friday Dec. 27 against the Kamloops Blazers.
