Earlier today Kelownarockets.com reporter Kevin Parnell caught up with Rockets head coach Ryan Huska and got his thoughts on the week so far.
KP: What do you think has been the difference in getting the wins this week compared to some of the earlier games?
RH: Early in both games (goalie) Adam Brown has been good for us. He’s allowed us to get our feet under us. The bulk of our guys are coming to play and they are playing much harder than they were earlier. We were having only four or five guys that were competing as hard as they should be. Lately we’ve had the majority of our guys doing that.
KP: What is it about wins that makes all the difference?
RH: Everybody talks about confidence when players aren’t having the success but wins are the best cure for all of that. Players are able to feel better about themselves. They don’t feel the weight of the world on their shoulders and that allows them to go out there and have success.
