r -The Rockets defeated Kamloops 3-2 in WHL exhibition action Saturday night at Prospera Place.

r -Kelowna goals are scored by Brett Bulmer,a prospect from Prince George, who scored in the third period. Jessey Astles, a 16-year-old from Coquitlam and Shane McColgan, also 16, from Hermosa Beach, California have the other Rockets goals.

r -Neil Landry and Richard Vanderhoek have scored for Kamloops.

r -There were about 2,500 fans in Prospera Place.

r -The Rockets have one more pre season game, next Friday night against Vancouver, also at Prospera Place.

r -The home opener is against Vancouver as well, Thursday Sept. 17.
