ROCKETS’ GATENBY VOTED RYOBI HARDEST WORKING PLAYER OF THE YEAR
The Western Hockey League in collaboration with Ryobi Power Tools, is pleased to announce Joe Gatenby as the winner of the 2015 WHL Ryobi Hardest Working Player of the Year award. Gatenby was chosen by the Kelowna Rockets fans as his Club’s Hardest Working Player this season. Gatenby then went on to win the title of the WHL’s Hardest Working Player after a league-wide fan poll
The Hardest Working Player of the Year is designed to honour the player who best exemplifies dependability, quality of play and commitment to his team throughout the regular season. Fans felt that Gatenby exemplified those qualities, which earned him the title of the WHL Ryobi Hardest Working Player of the Year for the 2014-2015 season. As part of winning this title, Gatenby is the recipient of a $2000 scholarship and a Ryobi 6pc combination kit courtesy of Ryobi Power Tools.
