Rockets fall 4-2 in Vancouver in preseason play

The Kelowna Rockets fell 4-2 in Vancouver on Saturday night in Western Hockey League exhibition action in Ladner.
Rookie prospect Jake Morrissey stopped 26 of 27 shots he faced in the game while Jesse Lees and Riley Stadel scored in a losing cause for Kelowna.
The loss drops the Rockets record in the preseason to 1-1 after a 4-3 win Friday night at home.
Kelowna has two exhibition games remaining as it will play in Kamloops next Friday before hosting Vancouver on Saturday in another Cops for Kids fundraiser.
The Rockets will open the WHL regular season Sept. 20 in Kamloops and play its home opener Sept. 21 against the Blazers at Prospera Place.
