Rockets Beat Red Deer 3-1

The Kelowna Rockets scored two second period goals en route to a 3-1 win in Red Deer on Friday night in the second game of a four game Western Hockey League road trip.
Rockets’ captain Colton Sissons scored twice for Kelowna in the win, his seventh and eighth goals of the season. Ryan Olsen scored the other marker while Myles Bell had two assists.
Jackson Whistle earned the win in goal for the Rockets as he faced 31 shots. Kelowna outshot Red Deer 42-31 in the game.
The Rockets have picked up three out of a possible four points to start its Alberta road trip after a shootout loss on Wednesday in Medicine Hat.
Kelowna will play Edmonton Saturday and Calgary on Sunday. Its next home game is Nov. 1 vs. Kamloops.
