Rockets Annual Cancer Awareness Night Tonight
The Kelowna Rockets will be painting Prospera Place in pink on Saturday Nov. 5 as the team holds its annual fundraiser in support of the B.C. Cancer Society.
Rockets players will be wearing one-of-a-kind pink jerseys as a show of support for all of those who have battled cancer or have been touched by the disease in the Rockets annual Cancer Awareness Night.

The jerseys will be available for purchase through a silent auction to be held during Saturday night’s game against the Portland Winterhawks. Net proceeds will be donated to the B.C. Cancer Society.
“We’re very proud to be involved with the B.C. Cancer Society,” said Gavin Hamilton, Rockets VP of Business Development. “We hope our fans take advantage of this opportunity to help out the society and get a unique Rockets souvenir.”
Rockets fans are also urged to wear pink in support of the Rockets Cancer Awareness Night.
