Edmonton Comes Back for Win

The Edmonton Oil Kings defeated the Kelowna Rockets 5-3 on Saturday night in Edmonton in the third game of a four game Rockets’s road trip.

The Oil Kings scored three times in the third period to erase a 3-2 Rockets lead and earn the win.

Dylen McKinlay, Zach Franko and Tyson Baillie had the Rockets goals while Dylan Wruck had the winning goal for the Oil Kings and added an assist.

Jordon Cooke suffered the loss as the Oil Kings outshot the Rockets 43-27.

Kelowna is 1-0-1-1 on its four game road trip that concludes Sunday in Calgary.

Kelowna will return to Prospera Place for games Thursday against Kamloops and Saturday versus Prince George.
