Tim Webster promoted to Rockets equipment manager
The Kelowna Rockets announced today that Tim Webster has been promoted to the team’s equipment manager.
“Tim has been a loyal Rocket and has worked hard to get to where he is now, we are proud to have watched him grow up within our organization and are excited for him to be our next equipment manager,” said Rockets president and general manager Bruce Hamilton.
Webster has spent the last eight seasons with the Rockets, first serving as a stick boy from 2014 to 2020, then working as the team’s assistant equipment manager from 2020-2022 under previous equipment manager Andrew Knopf.
Knopf recently departed the organization to pursue other opportunities.
“I’m honoured to continue to be a part of the Rockets organization,” said Webster. “I want to thank the players and staff, past and present, who have helped me along the way. I am excited to help the next generation of players and, to continue the winning tradition in Kelowna.”
Previous equipment manager Andrew Knopf recently departed the organization to pursue other opportunities.
