Rockets Take Down Blazers 6-3 in Kamloops
The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Kamloops Blazers 6-3 on Saturday night in Kamloops, improving to 3-1-0-0 in the WHL Preseason.
Jake Kryski scored twice and added two assists against his former team, giving him four goals in four preseason games, as the Rockets took both ends of a home and home with the Blazers.
Kole Lind had a goal and two assists while Tanner Wishnowski, Tate Coughlin and Braydyn Chizen also scored for the Rockets.
The Rockets outshot the Blazers 38-35 in the game. Brodan Salmond played the entire game in net for Kelowna.
Kelowna will play one more game in the WHL Preseason hosting the Vancouver Giants next Friday at Prospera Place.
The Rockets will open the WHL regular season in Kamloops on Sept. 24 before its home opener against the Blazers Sept. 24
