Rockets make twelve selections in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft
The Kelowna Rockets selected a total of 12 players in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft that took place online today, including one goaltender, five defencemen and six forwards.
With their first pick of the day, the Rockets selected centreman Jaxon Kehrig in the fourth round (No. 81) from the North East Wolfpack U15 AA of the SAAHL U15.
Kehrig, 14, posted 74 points (37G, 37A) and 18 penalty minutes through 31 games this season with the U15AA team.
The 5’11″, 161-pound centre also appeared in six games this season for the Tisdale Trojans U18AAA of the SMAAAHL.
