Rockets announce schedule for 2021-22 regular season
The Kelowna Rockets announced today the 68-game schedule for the 2021-22 Western Hockey League regular season with a 34-game home slate at Prospera Place.
Kelowna will open the 2021-22 season on home ice at Prospera Place, hosting the reigning U.S. Division champion Everett Silvertips, on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
The Rockets regular season schedule is set to conclude Saturday, April 2, 2022 with Kelowna hosting the Victoria Royals.
The annual Christmas break starts after games on Sunday, December 19, 2021 and continues until the first game after the holiday on Monday, December 27, 2021.
The vast majority of the 2021-22 WHL Western Conference Regular Season will be played on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Of the 340 games scheduled to be played, all but 64 will take place on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. There are an additional 11 games slated for the holiday break between Monday, December 27 and Thursday, December 30, 2021.

The 2021-22 WHL Regular Season Schedule will not feature any interlocking games between the Eastern Conference and Western Conference. Kelowna will play each B.C. Division team a total of 12 times, while facing off against U.S. Division team’s four times each this season.
The 2021-22 WHL Regular Season is scheduled to open on Friday, October 1. With the anticipated lifting of health restrictions in all jurisdictions the 2021-22 season will call for a 68-game schedule with full capacity in a fan-friendly and safe environment throughout all WHL markets. The 2021-22 WHL Regular Season will conclude Sunday, April 3.
An on-sale date for single-game tickets will be released at a later date.
Rockets season ticket holders will receive their renewal packages in the coming weeks.
Season seats for new season seat holders will go on sale in July through the Rockets office.
