Tonight’s Preview: The Kelowna Rockets open an Eastern Division road trip tonight in Prince Albert against the Raiders. This is the first of 6 games in 9 nights for the Rockets, who visit the Saskatoon Blades tomorrow night. The Rockets met the Raiders once last season, at Prospera Place, in a 4-3 shootout win. Nolan Foote had the lone goal in the shootout. The Rockets last played a game in Prince Albert on December 15, 2017 in a 7-3 victory. Kole Lind had three goals. The Rockets are coming off a 3-2 win last Saturday night at Prospera Place over the Prince George Cougars. Nolan Foote had two goals in the victory. The Rockets have points in 6 games (5-0-0-1).

November Notes: The Rockets were 6-4-0-1 in 11 games in November. Nolan Foote led the team with 5+8=13. Kaedan Korczak had 1+8=9 while Sean Comrie had 1+7=8 during the month. Michael Farren chipped in with 2+5=7 while Alex Swetlikoff scored five times.

J.J Joins Rockets: The Rockets completed a trade with the Moose Jaw Warriors November 24^th by acquiring 20-year-old Jadon Joseph. Joseph was a member of the Vancouver Giants last season that went all the way to the WHL final. The right handed centreman also helped Lethbridge to the Eastern Conference final two years ago. Joseph has 58 games of playoff experience under his belt, the most on the Rockets roster.

Broadcasters Notebook: The Rockets traded 18-year-old d-man Cayde Augustine to Moose Jaw on December 2^nd for a conditional 6^th round bantam pick…The Rockets have three players with links to Saskatchewan. Kaedan Korczak was born in Yorkton, Carsen Sass in Melville while Ethan Ernst is from Weyburn….Roman Basran was named the WHL Eli Wilson goaltender of the week in back-to-back weeks ending December 1st.  Basran was 1-0-0-1 last week, with a goals against average of 0.96 while stopping 46 of 48 shots…Pavel Novak is serving game 7 of an 8 game suspension issued by the WHL for a checking from behind major and game misconduct penalty. Novak won’t return until December 10^th against Brandon…Nolan Foote was named the 25^th captain in franchise history (Tacoma+Kelowna) October 18th. Foote joins brother Cal, who captained the Rockets during the 2017-2018 season. Foote has been invited to Hockey Canada’s training camp (Dec 9^th to Dec 12^th) next week for the World Junior Hockey Championships. The tournament will be played in the Czech Republic.
