Eleven Kelowna Rockets prospects to compete in Circle K Classic
Before they made it to the NHL and prior to suiting up for the Kelowna Rockets on a full-time basis, alumni such as Mikael Backlund and Luke Schenn competed with their U18 teams at Circle K Classic, formally known as the Mac’s Midget AAA World Invitational Tournament.
This year’s tournament, starting December 27 in Calgary, Alta., will see elven Rockets prospects compete with their U18 AAA teams as they battle against 32 teams over six days at the prestigious tournament.
