Barrie, ON – The Barrie Colts are happy to announce the signing of goaltender Sam Hillebrandt.<\/p>\n
The Riverview, Florida native came to Colts camp as a free agent after spending the 2021-22 season with the Florida Alliance North 16U organization. Hillebrandt recorded an impressive 20-11-2 record while registering a .934 SV%. Hillebrandt grew up in Michigan and played in the Detroit Little Caesars AAA program before moving to Florida for the previous two seasons.<\/p>\n
“Sam came into our camp and really impressed our entire coaching staff and scouts. He finished off our camp in the Blue vs White game without allowing a goal which capped off a strong showing that week for him. We believe Sam will be a great goalie for us moving forward and we’re excited to start working with him,” commented Head Coach & GM, Marty Williamson.<\/p>\n
