- Draft eligible blueliner Zayne Parekh starred with two goals and an assist, scoring the game-winner with 28 seconds to spare in overtime; his 72 points (25-47–72) lead OHL defenders
- Parekh joined Michael Misa in scoring his 25th goal of the season while Montreal Canadiens prospect Owen Beck scored goals 22 and 23
- Canadiens pick Cedrick Guindon scored a pair of goals for Owen Sound
- Sam Sedley tied Santino Centorame’s Attack record for career points by a defenceman, recording a goal and an assist to give him 157 (36-121–157) over 235 games
- The Spirit outshot the Attack 52-28, going 2-for-8 on the power play to Owen Sound’s 1-for-1
- Andrew Oke made 24 saves for the win opposite Owen Sound’s Carter George, who made 47 saves
- A third straight OT win sees Saginaw improve to 35-13-0-1, four points up on Sault Ste. Marie for first place in the West Division

Sarnia Sting 6 vs. Erie Otters 4
- The Sting climbed out to a 4-0 lead before Erie made a game of things; Easton Wainwright scored the eventual game-winner 5:10 into the third
- Tyson Doucette and Sean Doherty each scored twice for the Sting while Wainwright finished with a goal and two helpers
